In 2012, Select Shades Eyewear Events was formed as a division of Sunglass Warehouse, a successful brick-and-mortar retailer of sunglasses. As of 2016, Select Shades Eyewear Events has grown and expanded continuously each year, operating its own retail stores and gifting experience.
Jason Pittenger is from Charleston, SC and started his career in the food and beverage industry before joining Sunglass Warehouse. Under his operational leadership, Sunglass Warehouse grew into a 25+ store chain. Jason is known for his drive and ambition, always pushing forward and maintaining a high standard of excellence as a business owner.
Jonathan Brimer is from Lakeland, FL and worked with Marriott International for twelve years before he joined Sunglass Warehouse. He was instrumental in officially launching the Select Shades Eyewear Events division in 2014. In 2016, Jonathan became a business partner with Jason, realizing his lifelong dream of being a business owner and entrepreneur.
Together, Jason Pittenger and Jonathan Brimer have played significant roles in the development and success of Select Shades Events, taking it from a division of Sunglass Warehouse to a thriving standalone company.
